About Nancy
Nancy is a L.AC, a licensed acupuncturist with the Minnesota Medical Board. She received her Oriental Medicine degree from the Minnesota Institute of Acupuncture and Herbal Studies and her Masters in Oriental Medicine from Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Nancy moved with her family from Iowa to Minnesota in 1994 to attend acupuncture school. She graduated from Minnesota Institute of Acupuncture and Herbal Studies in 1998 and has been practicing acupuncture since that time. Nancy is an assistant professor at Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, which is part of Northwestern Health Sciences University, and she also works at MCAOM as a clinical supervisor in the acupuncture teaching clinic.She practices at Woodwinds Natural Care Center in Woodbury and has a private practice in Roseville. Nancy is currently on the board of the Acupuncture Association of Minnesota and also serves on the Alumni Board for MCAOM/Northwestern Health Sciences University.

Nancy has many interests outside of acupuncture. She earned her BME degree in music and has worked as a music educator and professional jazz musician for 30 years. She is also a watercolor artist and makes beaded jewelry. Her other great loves are her husband, two daughters, and Himalayan cats.
